Kgaswane Country Lodge is a warm and welcoming owner-run lodge based in Rustenburg adjacent to the Kgaswane Nature Reserve.
The lodge boasts spectacular views of the Magaliesberg Mountain and the captivating beauty of the Kgaswane Nature Reserve. Situated on the R24, the trip to Kgaswane Country Lodge takes guests on a scenic route through world and natural heritage site, The Cradle of Humankind.
The picturesquely located lodge affords guests the unique opportunity to spot animals which include Springbok, White rhino, Gemsbok, Black-backed jackal and numerous bird species.

The Kgaswane Nature Reserve is a captivating place of special beauty.
The reserve, set in the hills above the town of Rustenburg, spans 40 square-kilometers of the Magaliesberg mountain range. The majestic mountain range is known for breathtaking views and impressive hiking trails.
The 4257-hectare reserve boasts 84 species of mammals, as well as 300 bird, 56 reptile, 16 amphibian and 130 tree species, making it an ideal destination for tourists or out of town visitors for a day outing. Some of the animals that you may see include Springbok, White rhino, Gemsbok, Black stork and the Glossy ibis to mention name a few. The reserve offers a number of picnic sites and picturesque viewpoints for magnificent views of the Magaliesberg and the Olifantsnek Dam.

Set adjacent to the Kgaswane Nature Reserve, the lodge’s decor and design has been inspired by ‘Mother’ Africa, which have resulted in a unique blend of natural and tribal influences which make an authentic African statement in each corner of the lodge. Kgaswane Country Lodge is spread out over five separate blocks, surrounding a central entertainment area.
